Mexican Music Comes to the Spofford Pond School through a grant co-funded by B.E.S.T. and the Boxford PTO.

A Saugus-based group led by Latin-American dance and music educator Veronica Robles came to the Spofford School with her Mariachi last Wednesday afternoon for the culmination of a multi-tiered Spanish program. read more

Touched by Technology

In 2006, B.E.S.T. launched it's Touched by Technology capital campaign to infuse technology in Boxford’s elementary schools. We are thrilled to report that in June of 2008 we reached our goal of raising $180,000! The installation of the technology was completed this fall. Thank you for your support!

Think Green

B.E.S.T. kicked the year off with the environment in mind. Students at Spofford Pond School will now be able to keep an eye to sky with utilizing the new "Weather Bug" technology that was installed on the roof top of the Spofford Pond School over the summer. Our new “Think Green” initiative which is well underway with teachers and parents working together to explore new ideas for integrating environmental awareness into the curriculum for our children  Are you interested in fostering your child's education and preserving environment?  Please take a moment to look at a few ofthe environmental enrichment programs that are being considered.
